Who we Are
HCF is a local health organization that focuses on people irrespective of their age, gender, beliefs, social and economic status - we all need access to the quality health care possible. That is why at HCF we work with partners and stakeholders to make sure that health providers are trained, supported, and ready to do the job.
At Health Crescendos Foundation, we know that health care is about people—not just those who need it, but those who deliver it.The people who provide health care need to feel safe at work, they need training that is up to date. And they need access to the supplies, equipment, and technology that will help them reach even the most remote and vulnerable communities in a fast-changing world.
Our programs are designed with a deep understanding of and appreciation for the context of human rights, gender equality and discrimination, economic empowerment, and the changing populations.
We listen, analyze, and collaborate to develop the most effective programs in the industry—always specific to their contexts and relevant to the people we serve.
Our special areas are on health including Reproductive health (RH) which is a critical part of health. For women, this definition highlights the importance of taking a health systems approach that integrates RH care issues and services with other aspects of care needed across the course of life. The RH needs of women are shaped by their stages of life and life experiences. Though maternity care addresses an important aspect of RH, there are additional aspects that are equally important especially their sexual health.
Health Crescendos Foundation (HCF) is a non for profit organization aimed at improving the skills and knowledge of health care providers and strengthening health systems to improve the quality of care and services. Health addresses the physical and psychological well-being of individuals. Reproductive health (RH) is a critical part of health. RH encompasses gynecological health throughout life, preconception care, maternity care, cancer care, Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) including HIV/AIDS and the interaction of RH with other health conditions (e.g., reproductive psychiatry). Reproductive health care is a set of health care services that address the well-being and function of reproductive processes, reproductive functions, and the reproductive system at all ages and stages of life. The World Health Organization (WHO) defines health as a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity and RH as a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being and not merely the absence of reproductive disease or infirmity.
